Album missing songs

Album missing songs

I added an album, and when I played it, it appeared to be missing songs, and the app played songs from other artists that do not belong on the album. As far as I can tell, there is no way to access the complete list of songs on the album from within the app, including the songs that don't belong on it, and the songs that don't belong cannot be removed. How do I find out if the album is, in fact, missing songs? Also, can the songs that don't belong be removed? If so, how?

Hey @jpshivell

You can't look at the complete List of Songs in an Album / Playlist because it's a Bug ( I think, I'm not sure) for Spotify Free. And I think that the app played songs from other artists after the songs you wanted to hear, because of Autoplay ( Spotify plays similar songs after your playlist / album/ song) but you can turn that off by pressing Settings> Scroll down to Autoplay and disable it ( then it should look gray behind that)

hope I could help. Have a nice day 🙂

Hello @jpshivell

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community!

Just to clarify some things, this is intended behavior for the Free mobile app now.

The and more option when viewing an album or artist page won't be leading to a page where you can preview a list of all the tracks contained within. However, you can still listen to the shuffled tracks.

You can still see the album content if you create a playlist with songs it contains. While creating a playlist and adding songs to it, you can also view the whole album content after a quick search and listen to songs previews.

If you'd like to see this function back, make sure to take a look at this idea and add your +VOTE there.

If it comes to playing an album, as a Free user, you won't be able to play music on demand.

Pick and play on mobile is available only for Premium users. However, it's available on selected playlists for Free users as well, there will be no shuffle symbol next to the title of the playlist. That means, you can choose a song you want to play and you have unlimited skips.

You can still play on-demand using e.g. desktop, even without Premium Subscription.
