[All Platforms][Your Library] Removal of unwanted anything

[All Platforms][Your Library] Removal of unwanted anything

When i was in charge of my cd collection/mp3 collection, i didnt have to carry something i didn't want. Spotify forces so much onto users without the option to remove it. Also i pay for a service that doesn't provide real customer assistance, you expect other users to sort out your problems just like gifgaf.

What, no smart **bleep** reply from someone who doesn't actually work for spotify?

Hi there @Phweeb,

Thanks for your post!

Could you give us a bit more detail on your issue with the functionality of the app. We'll be happy to look into it and offer assistance if possible.

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

Cheers.

No matter how many times i press "dont play this artist " they reappear every week.
EVERY PLAYABLE "THING" SHOULD BE BLOCKABLE

Hey @Phweeb

Thanks for providing us with more details about this.

If the Don't play this artist feature doesn't work as expected it's a good idea to check if you still observe the same after performing a clean reinstall of the Spotify app. Follow these steps on how to run a clean reinstall depending on the device you're using.

In case this persists on a mobile device, make sure no battery optimization settings or data cleaning apps run active on your device. Such features can often prevent the app from operating at full capacity. We also suggest accessing the app settings and making sure all Permissions are enabled for Spotify.

If you experience this on a desktop device, check your hosts file for entries that need to be removed. Follow the steps described here on how you can do that.

Keep us in the loop here.

Nah, gonna go try youtube music thanks.

Failing that, I'll probably go back to piracy.
