App does not play songs from chosen playlist

App does not play songs from chosen playlist

Hi

I am a Premium subscriber, and I usually listen to Spotify via my Chromebook.

When attempting to play songs in a particular playlist, after having played the first track, the app then defaults to a song from a playlist which I'd previously selected to play from. I have to manually select each track from my desired playlist, as it would otherwise automatically default to the one previously played.

How did this happen, and what can I do to prevent a recurrence?

Hey @CarterUSM,

 

Welcome to the Community!

 

Could you make sure that Spotify is not playing content from the Queue and also disable Shuffle/Smart Shuffle.

 

This is very odd behavior which is worth troubleshooting, but first I'd like to mention that currently we don't have an official Chromebook app yet so we recommend using the Web Player which is similar to the full desktop version of Spotify.

 

If you've installed the Android version of the app and if you haven't done this already, then I recommend starting with clearing the cache, as well as a clean reinstall. For more info on these steps, check out this link

 

On another note, let us know if the same behavior happens in the Web Player as well.
