My Question or Issue

I deleted a playlist that I made, and it no longer appears in my Libary. However, it still shows up on my friends profile who had it saved. When I click on it from there, it will not let me private it or delete it, and just says error no internet even though I have service. I can still change the songs and name. How can I delete from everywhere?

Thanks!

Hey @Capt_Riptide thanks for the response.

Since you have 90 days to restore your deleted playlists, it might show up in places even after deleting, for example, in the recently played section.

However, rest assured that it'll be updated once the listening habit changes over time. As your friend listens to more content, the deleted playlist will be removed.

If the playlist still appears after a couple of weeks, feel free to let me know.

Hey @Capt_Riptide, thanks for asking in the Community!

Deleting your public playlist should remove it from the platform. Since you are having issues with this, here are a few steps that you can try:

  1. Log into your account on Spotify.com.
  2. Visit the recover playlist page. You can also click here for a direct link.
  3. Restore the playlist that you want to delete.
  4. Once it is back in your library, make it public and then make it private.
  5. After making it private again, go ahead and delete the playlist.
  6. Confirm if the playlist is now gone from others' library.

If this does not work, please share a screenshot of the playlist from another account. Keep me posted.

Hey, @Amayy

Thanks for the response!

When I restore the playlist, it now allows me to private it. When I do private it, it does not show up in any of my friend's library's. However, it still shows up for me when I look at their recent playlists from their profile. This also happens when I delete it.

Any additional help would be greatly appreciated!
