Can't get songs synchronized to desktop from my Android phone

My Question or Issue

Hi, I have local music files in both my phone and laptop, my songs on the laptop could be synced to phone but not vice versa. I have set up the playlist and turned on 'download,' my two devices connect to the same wifi, I got songs from desktop but the songs on my phone does not sync to desktop. What should I do?

Hi @AWong,

Welcome to the community, and thanks for your post! It's currently only possible to sync local tracks from the desktop app to the mobile apps. You would need to manually add these tracks to a folder on your computer in order to listen to them through Spotify on the desktop. See more about local files here.

I use a TF card and my phone now has much more space than my laptop. It's strange to keep PC as a central device to distribute music nowadays. I hope we get this mutual synchronization between mobile devices and PC in the future.
