My Question or Issue

I am the admin on my family account, and none of the people on my plan can play explicit songs. I have the explicit content on in settings, I have Uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and I have done a clean reset of the app. It still will not play the songs. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks in advance

Hi @Cowbrainenchila,

Thanks for the reply.

We've checked the availability of this EP and it's currently not available for streaming in the US.

This is why the songs are grayed out. The same goes for some other content from Tei Shi.

Hope this clears things up 🙂

Hello. Thank you for replying. I looked at the link you sent, but I am trying to turn explicit content on, not off. I have followed the instructions in the solutions on similar posts though, and nothing I have tried has gotten the songs to play. @Jeremy

Hey there @Cowbrainenchila

Thanks for getting back to us.

In this case, make sure to head over to your Premium Family page > select the plan member > toggle "Remove explicit content" off.

If you can't see that option, could you send us a screenshot of what you're seeing there on your end? Make sure not to send any private info.

Keep us posted on how it goes.

The filter is turned off on all plan members. It is also not working on my account as the plan manager.

Hi again @Cowbrainenchila,

Thank you for your reply and confirmation.

Can you try from a different device to see if the issue persists?

Let us know how everything goes 🙂

Take care!

Hey @Cowbrainenchila,

Thanks for getting back to us 🙂

Could you send us a screenshot of what you're seeing? Just make sure that there's no sensitive/private info visible.

Could you also share with us which Spotify app version is running on your devices? We'll look into this further.

Keep us posted.

The grayed out songs are not playable. The second screenshot is to show that the "allow explicit content" is on.
