Cannot like song or replay it

Cannot like song or replay it

When trying to play music it will not like or let me replay the song. I cannot use the repeat button.

Thanks for reaching out. 

 

Just to confirm, are you getting any kind of error message when you try to like a song? And for the repeat button, is it greyed out or is anything else preventing you from using it? The more info you include in your post, the better. 

 

It'd also be helpful to know the model, OS version and the Spotify version currently running on the affected device.

Hello!
I never get an error. It’s just primarily greyed out now on the repeat and shuffle buttons. When I like a song it doesn’t add to my library. I deleted the app and reinstalled it. It worked for a minute then did it again!I have premium, and I tried to erase cache prior.

It's great that you've already reinstalled the app and if it worked for a moment after this step, it's worth testing with a clean reinstall which is a bit more detailed. Just to be on the safe side, take a look and follow the steps here.

 

If the issue persists, it'd be great if you could ask a relative or a friend to log in to their account on your device and also, let us know if the same thing happens with your account on another device.
