Cant sync local files between desktop and phone ( windows 10 and android)

My Question or Issue

I have tried everything but the local files show up on my phone greyed out and with an exclamation point next to them. I can play them on my pc and can even control the play and pause on my phone when I connect them but even connected when tapping on the song and switching device to the phone it just stops and sometimes a notification saying trying to play pops up on my phone. I have visited similar issues' solutions but cant seem to be able to fix the problem. (Apps are updated, devices on the same network) Used to be able to do this but cant lately

Could you let us know which troubleshooting steps you've already tried? If your Local Files are still not showing up on your Samsung, we'd recommend taking a look at this article. 

Also, a clean reinstall of the app could be helpful too to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble.
