I am having a similar issue. I really don't want to hear Iggy Azalea and a few other songs/artist Spotify added to my list but I don't have the ability to remove them from my playlist. The algorithm on this is so odd--some of the songs aren't even related to my original playlist.

The screenshot is from FAQs published on here but this is not currently working. It looks like in February folks had this same issue and were able to resolve the issue. But we're revisiting the same issue now in December.

Hi folks!

@Iolanthe, note that if your playlist has less than 15 tracks, the app will automatically add new recommendations. In case a song that was added by Spotify doesn't fit your liking, you can tap the "-" icon in the Now Playing view to hide it from that particular playlist.

if you don't want Spotify to play a particular artist, you can go to their artist page and tap on the three dots > Don't play this. The app would then automatically skip all of their songs in case they come up in the play queue.

As for your playlists, you should be able to edit their contents by tapping Edit next to the track list, or the three dots menu > Edit playlist. You can remove existing track from the playlist by tapping the "-" icon on the left. In case you don't see it, tap on the three dots and select Remove from this playlist instead.

@Mousenet, could you share a short screen recording which captures the app' s behavior in action? That way we can get a clear understanding of what's happening on your end.

Cheers!
