Clicking on song in album creates playlist instead of playing album (desktop app).

My Question or Issue

I have been trying to play an album.  I click on the first song and instead of playing the album, Spotify creates a playlist queue of that artist.  I did not request for a playlist to be created, only to start the album.

So, then I had the idea to click on the play button for the album.  Spotify does the same thing.  It creates a playlist instead of starting the album.

In settings, I have confirmed that autoplay is off for both similar songs on either the desktop or mobile apps.

Historically, this has not been a problem.

In this case, we'd like to gather as much info as possible. Do you mean that you get queue with songs that are not from that album? In order for us to better understand what exactly is going on, could you post some screenshots (or a quick video) of your experience with playing a song in album?

In the meantime, we can recommend to clear cached files on your device following this steps to see if the app behaves the same way.

On another note, do you experience the same when using our Web Player? Could you please test this and let us know?
