Download oldest episodes first

You can sort oldest to newest but you can’t set this as default across the board 

you can auto download most recent episodes and set the number but you can’t auto download based on your ‘ordering’ preference

i want to listen to oldest to newest so it makes no sense to auto download the newest episodes I need to auto download the oldest episodes that I am yet to listen to yet 

why no setting to do this?

Thanks for getting in touch about this here in the Community. We moved your post from the Ideas board to the relevant Help board, where it fits better.

Currently, if you activate the auto-download for the new episodes, the previous ones won't be downloaded. 

In this case, what you can do is to copy all episodes and paste them in a new playlist (this can be easily done in the desktop app), download them and then sort them any way you like.

On another note, we suggest that you re-post your idea making sure it's clear. For example, if what you want is to download all episodes from a podcast at once so you can sort and listen to them from older to newer, you can ask for a button which would have this purpose.
