Fast scroll disappear in my folders and can’t play song too far in a folder

My Question or Issue

Since this morning I can’t fast scroll on my folders. I then slow scrolled to the bottom of my liked songs list (more than a thousand songs(I’m try to sort all that in subfolders and delete stuff I don’t like anymore)) and when I’m too far in my folder Spotify won’t select the song I want (I’ve been doing it for years and it always worked). If a song was already playing, it will stop that song when I click on a song on the end of my list but it will never play. I go back to the maybe 200 first songs of the folder and it works normally.

 

I delete my history and cookies every day and all other apps were closed. I rebooted Spotify and it did not work. I rebooted my phone and it did not work either.

Kudos for the troubleshooting you tried! 

 

In order to take a closer look, would you mind sending us a short screen recording of the issue happening? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. You can also upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to see it).

 

On another note, we'd like to know if this is only happening on your phone or on other devices as well. If this only happens on your phone, could you ask a friend or a relative to log in to their account on your phone to see if they can replicate this behavior?

 

Lastly, could you let us know if this started happening after a specific event such as an update either of Spotify or the OS of your device?
