Followers count stuck at 1000 and doesn’t update

My followers count reached 1000 and won’t update further even though I know for sure new people are following my page. 

I contacted Spotify support but their advice (like reinstalling or clearing the cache) didn’t help at all. 

I also saw some people ask about it here but nobody gave any solution. 

Is it a bug or a feature that caps your followers count at 1000?

Has anyone else had this issue? How was it resolved?

We looked up the account and we can see that it has more followers.

Just to double-check-do you still see the same number or it has changed?

If there are no changes, could you please share with us on which device you're experiencing this? Does this happen on different devices?

Hi! Thanks for replying

I ended up contacting Spotify support, they gave my request to Escalations Team and the followers count started updating a day after. I don’t know if it happened on its own and or they did something. 

Now the followers count freezes for a day not changing the number and then updates at once in the morning. I guess it takes time to process
