How to disable startup songs?

How to disable startup songs?

Upon starting up the app, the last song I listened to is still there, which makes it really inconvenient to reshuffle the playlist that it's in. Is there a way to make it so that when you close the app, it doesn't remember what song you were on?

Hey @willbgaming,

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

We can confirm that is expected behavior since the last played song the app saves is in the app's cache. So, when you open the app, you'll see the last song played on that device.

No worries, you can always reshuffle a playlist by hitting the shuffle icon again. In this case, you just need to open the Now playing View and hit the shuffle button to get a re-shuffle.

If you're in the mobile app version, you'll open the Now playing view by tapping the last song you were listening to. There you'll find the shuffle icon and by hitting it you can get shuffle, Smart shuffle, and deactivate the shuffle (in that order). To reshuffle, tap the button three times.

We hope you found this helpful. Let us know if you need anything else.
