I worked really hard to make a playlist of songs from the year 1992 that meant a lot to my best friend. She took a screenshot of it and I was shocked to see that it contained songs that I did not put on there (songs from the wrong year and even other decades). It ruined the intent of the playlist that I had so carefully crafted. Why would this happen? I appreciate any help on how to resolve this, if it can be resolved. Thanks!
I'm using Spotify premium and my friend has the free version on her iPhone 11.

Hey @1241635305,
Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!
Can you let us know if the playlist was set to Collaborative?
Also, is she based in the same country as you, because the content availability on Spotify is sometimes different in different countries and some songs/ albums might not be available.
The subscription type doesn't matter, but if the playlist has less than 15 songs the Spotify app on a free account can sometimes automatically add similar songs.
Looking forward to your reply.
Thank you very much for your reply,
The playlist wasn't collaborative and we're both in the USA. My playlist had only 10 songs on it, so that might've been what happened (her free Spotify added additional songs). That's good to know.
In the future, is there a way to prevent this, other than making my playlists a minimum of 15 songs long? Thank you!
Hey @1241635305,
Thanks for the post.
Currently there is no way around this. This is intended so that new users can discover more music they might like.
You can check this idea about an option to remove the We added section and add your +Vote to it, don't let the Idea status discourage you. You can also Subscribe to the thread so you can stay up-to-date with any relevant news about this.
Hope this helps 🙂
