I cannot play or download any podcast I’ve previously listened to

I cannot play or download any podcast I’ve previously listened to

For some reason I can only play or download new podcasts any time I try to download or play an old podcast (only video pods) it won’t let me and says network error I’ve tried everything listed to this website and nothing seems to work

Welcome to the Spotify Community and thanks for reaching out!

 

What device are you having this issue with? It's worth checking if the issue occurs on another device, if available (a friend's or a relative's would also do).

 

If you're using the mobile app, make sure you've allowed Spotify to access your network in your phone's settings. Something else you can try is switching to cellular data to see if you'd be able to play/download shows then.

 

If you're on desktop, it's worth checking if  Spotify is allowed through your Firewall. You can also try a clean reinstall of the app. In case you're using a VPN, try disabling it temporarily as well to see if that does the trick.
