Local music on computer becomes unavailable on phone

My Question or Issue

I listen to local mp3's on Spotify desktop, which are on playlists that I sync to my phone. However, soon after syncing, some of the files grey out on my phone so that when their playlist is played, Spotify skips the song. But, if I directly select the song, it plays. If I resync my phone and computer's Spotifys, the greyness goes away, but only to return, iirc to the same few songs. Now, I can just resync my computer often, but it's a bit of a process and it only likes to sync once my computer connects to my phones hotspot and I loosen it's firewalls. I would appreciate any ideas to fix this "greying" out!
