My Question or Issue

Hello all. I just tried to upload new local files to my playlists and they wouldn't download. Not only that, I lost access to my already working local files and now are unplayable on my phone, showing an exclamation mark and saying that ''they're now available in this device''. Very infuriating, this is.

Thanks for the post.

 

Sorry to hear the local files stopped working on your phone.

 

We'd recommend running a clean reinstall of the app on your phone. You should clear all app data and cache before reinstalling. You can follow this Spotify Guide. Corrupted cache might be causing this.

 

If the reinstall doesn't help, you can try changing the Local Files location on your Desktop and reuploading them to again. After that add them to a new playlist and try downloading that on your phone.
