My Podcasts don't play

My Question or Issue

Ive recently downloaded three new podcasts and none of them play.  I hit the green play button it doesn't respond and nothing happens.  Ive checked my storage, turned my phone on and off, signed in again and reviewed payment plan and that seems to be ok so have run out of ideas. any hope appreciated.

This sounds a bit odd and we'll do our best to help you out here.

Would you mind testing this with a different account? If a family member has a Spotify account, it'd be great to ask them to log in on your device to see if they'll be able to play the podcasts. This will help us understand if it's account related or not. 

We'd also recommend giving this a try on a different network, for example try to connect to another Wi-Fi or test with a hotspot network (if possible). 

In case the issue persists, could you let us know which podcast you are trying to listen?

Cannot play certain, smaller podcasts. I can play all of my bigger popular podcasts though. Examples of ones that will not play : Sad to Savage and The Birth Hour. I have done the clean re-install and updated my iPhone to the most recent update. I don’t know what else to do.
