My playlists stopped updating to show on my account so I can’t access them

When I go to view my account on any device not signed in or even just searching on my own phone, I can’t see any playlist I’ve made in the past year. Makes trying to listen to music with friends difficult. I tried chatting with spotify support and they didn’t seem to understand how to fix it but I’ve tried turning my phone off, updating the app, uninstalling completely and reinstalling, and nothing has helped

Hi there @Padmapatil

When did this first start happening?

Do any of your playlists appear on the Web Player?

If your answers are recent, and no, could you see if any of them are on this page?

If they are, and you didn't delete them, someone may have gained access to your account. I would recommend changing your Spotify password.

Hey @Padmapatil!

It's also worth checking if you've added the playlist to your profile. In general a public playlist means that anyone with the link can view it, however, it won't show up on your profile unless you manually add it. You can do that from the three dots menu > Add to profile.

On the desktop app, you can also make it so that all new playlists you make are automatically published on your profile through the app's Settings > Social > Publish my new playlists on my profile.

Cheers!
