None of my local files show up in search ever since the new UI update

My Question or Issue

Previously, before this update, whenever I would search songs globally, local file songs would also show up. Now this doesn't happen anymore; I instead have to go all the way to my library and then to my local files playlist to search for a local song. It gets really tiring when I'm going back and forth. What's the way to toggle this behaviour?

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

Currently local files won't show up in the search tab on Desktop, they'll be available in the Local files folder and playlists you've added them to.

If you think other users might also like to have them searchable again, go ahead and create an idea on the relevant idea board. We always take new ideas and feedback into consideration to improve the app. Here you can read more on how ideas work.

We also suggest checking this help article for useful tips on how to submit an idea. As a heads-up, it's good to know that the higher the number of votes an idea gets, the more likely it is for the idea to be implemented.
