Not all albums are visible in the discography, but they can be found through the search!

Not all albums are visible in the discography, but they can be found through the search!

There is a problem. Some albums of some artists can be found directly using the search, but if you go to the page of this artist, and even by clicking on the name of the artist from the found album, this album may not be present in the discography view. The problem is equally evident both in the desktop version of the application (Mac, the latest version of the app) and in the browser version. The situation is much worse in the mobile app. If you go to the discography of some artists, then there may not be even more albums for many years in the mobile app. Although, they are visible in the desktop version, and through the search in the mobile application, these albums are also found, and in the same way, if you click on the link to the artist's name from the found album, then this album will not be in the opened discography anyway.

Hi there @evanfyor,

Thank you for posting on the Community.

We checked the "Prokofiev: Romeo and Juliet" album on our side and were able to find the album under Dimitri Mitropoulos' discography.

In order to look into this content please send us the URI codes of other albums you're having this issue with.

We'll be on the lookout.

Thank you for your response! Absolutely right – this album is displayed in the discography of the second artist of this album. But isn't it according to the idea of the Spotify catalog, if the link to all artists is clickable, shouldn't the album be displayed in the discography of each artist? It does not look very logical when you click on the link from the album to the name of one of the artists of this album, you do not see this album in his discography, although you went to the page of this artist from the page of this album. I have observed this behavior of the catalog in Spotify more than once. I will definitely add links to other albums when I notice something like this again.
