[Other] Bring back the HEART

Spotify is testing a feature wherein there is no longer the ability to single-click a Heart icon to like a song.

Instead we’re forced to click a plus sign and choose from an array of options. There are several reasons why this causes negative impact on the user experience such as:

• one click UX vs multiple clicks to accomplish the same function
• no longer the ability to Heart an album to add it to library. Instead it auto hearts all songs on an album
• no longer the ability to easily see the which songs have been previously liked on an album / playlist which previously had a heart icon beside the song title 

This is an improper change to a primary function which is now missing. Please bring back the Heart.

I totally agree that the version without a heart is much worse 😞 The heart disappeared for me in October, came back later and is now gone again. I’m very dissatisfied with this, bring it back please.

No please take the heart away, I am so tired of accidentally unhearting a song when I’m scrolling through my liked songs. I also don’t like having to be extra careful when I’m on the screen that shows the song you’re listening to, if I accidentally press in the wrong spot my song is gone and I have my songs in order on my liked, it sucks getting that messed up with no way to fix it. There’s times when my phone will be turning off (dark screen but not off) and I will think it’s off, so I tap the screen only to realize it was on and that I just unhearted a song. It’s frustrating. Or please AT LEAST give people the option to choose which UI they want to have on their account. Maybe that’s easier said than done but it would help satisfy both sides.

When I stared using hearts couple months ago, my experience with Spotify changed dramatically for the better! Now I have to make 6 steps to manage my playlists and liked songs. Moreover it was cool to know which song I liked on the album I’m not listening on daily basis. Please bring the hearts back, it was so cool!!!
