my actual message body was: all kinds of artists, like dozens, are randomly grey now .. .but if I find their songs they exist ... this is a pretty enormous problem for using the service in general.

Hi @danekan1,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community.

Sorry for the late reply, we've just come across this post. We've moved it to this help board as it doesn't count as an idea submission.

We're aware that about a week ago there were issues with grayed out songs. However, it was fixed, can you confirm if it's still happening for you?

If the issue has persisted, we'd like to have some more information. Please let us know in which devices this is happening, the make, model and OS, as well as the Spotify version you're running.

Keep us posted.

I have this problem too, it is only happening in the browser version. (Windows, Brave Browser) I only use browser version and Android version interchangeably and it doesn't happen to me on mobile.

Hey @adidass,

Thanks for the post.

Could you try using another browser to check if the same content is grayed out.

If that's the case please send us a link to some songs/ albums which appear greyed out and tell us the country of your Spotify Account. We'll check the availability of those tracks 🙂

Cheers.
