Playlists will not unpin on Spotify website.

Solved!

Playlists will not unpin on Spotify website.

I have Windows 10, and I'm using the Spotify website.  I have 4 playlists pinned.  I want to unpin one of them.  I right-click on the playlist, and choose "unpin", and it does nothing.   I can't unpin it, and I can't pin another playlist because I already have 4.  Why does "unpin" do nothing?

Hey @Ramfat,

Thanks for reaching out!
I can confirm that the pin/ unpin changes take a while to update on my end as well. The clicks do get registered as I can spot immediate changes in the desktop app when using the Web Player to pin/ unpin. The changes, however, take a while to reflect on the Web Player itself.

For the time being, should you need to track the pin status with immediate effect, I would suggest using the desktop app for the best results. We will relay the Web Player behaviour backstage in the meantime.

Cheers & have a good day!

I tried that strategy and it did nothing for me and also cant pin other playlists it only lets me pin 2 but I should be able to pin 4 (I have a Dell Chromebook)

Hey @milad1125,

Welcome to the Community and thank you for joining the conversation.

That's an odd behavior as you should be able to pin up to 4 playlists. So in this case, we'd recommend trying to pin/unpin your playlists by using an incognito/private window or a different browser.

Also, if the issue persists, would you mind trying from a different device to see if it makes any difference?

We'll be on the lookout.
