Remove song from On Repeat playlist

Remove song from On Repeat playlist

Account seems to got hacked last week and played 2 songs i dont know and i dont like multiple times. Both songs got to my on Repeat playlist at 3rd/4th place which is very annoying because i dont like both songs and its something the hacker played. I would like to remove this on the on repeat playlist and if possible on all my played history.

Hey there @jimleocortez,

Sorry to hear this has happened to you!

Although there's currently no direct way of removing these songs from the 'On Repeat' playlist, I'm thinking of a possible workaround that might work for future updates of the playlist - add the two songs to a separate playlist and then right click on the playlist (on desktop) and select 'Exclude from your taste profile'. This can also be done on mobile when you open the playlist and click the three dots.

Once the playlist has been excluded, past and future listens from that playlist will have less impact on your taste summaries and recommendations.
While this is true, note that this method is not guaranteed to make a difference, as the songs have been listened to via a different playlist and not the new one. I do believe, however, that it's still worth a shot - the new installment of the 'On Repeat' playlist might just not have these inclusions anymore; keeping my fingers crossed!

In the meantime, you can block the artists in question and you can also take a look at the ideas here, here and here and leave a vote if you feel like doing so! The more attention an idea gets - the better its chances for a quicker implementation 🙂

Hope this helps! Keep us in the loop 🙌🏼
