My Question or Issue

Repeat Rewind has last been updated in November 2019 while On Repeat updates every 3 days. I've already tried to resync and reinstall but nothing helps. I also did listen to a high variety of songs.

Hey @Berkers,

Thanks for getting back to us with the screenshots.

We appreciate your report about this behavior, our developer team is currently looking into this. We can't say if and when exactly this will be fixed, but we recommend that you always keep the app up to date with the latest version. That way you'll make use of all features and fixes, as soon as they are made available.

In the meantime you can create a new account with a different e-mail address or through Facebook and check if Repeat Rewind updates regularly there. If it works on the new account you can copy your playlists from the old account using the steps here

Hope you find this useful. Keep us posted if you have any questions.

Hi there @Berkers,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community about this!

If you've already done a clean reinstall, you can try unfollowing the playlist, logging out and back in, then following it again to shake things up.

Note that Repeat Rewind will still take in account how many times you've listened to a song. So it's more likely to get the same songs if you've listened to them more often for longer periods of time.

Keep us posted on how you get on with this.

Cheers.

I've done what you said and I will see you in 3 days to see if it has worked!

Hey, I'm back!

Still nothing changed. On Repeat has updated while Repeat Rewind just doesn't.

Hi @Berkers,

Thanks for keeping us in the loop.

Would you mind sending over a screenshot where we can see the last time it was updated?

You can attach it to your next response to us by using the Insert Photos option in the post editor, just make sure to exclude any personal info from it.

Also, let us know the exact Spotify version you're currently running on your devices.

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

I'm running the latest Spotify versions on all my devices. I just saw that I made a mistake when saying when Repeat Rewind has been last updated. It should have been November 2020 instead of November 2019. The picture with 'Crazy' is the On Repeat and the one with 'Rain' is Repeat Rewind.
