Reset the custom order of public playlists

Hey, so I messed around with the "Custom Order" of the playlists in my library without realizing that's the order my public playlists then get displayed on my profile. I want my new playlists to be added to the top of my playlists on my profile page when displayed to the public, but now that I've changed around the custom order, all my new playlists get added after the playlists I've moved. Is there a way to wipe the custom order or change the order that public playlists are displayed back to the "Recently Added" order? Changing it to "Recently Added" in my library only affects the library's order and makes no difference to the public playlist page.

Hi @Fred_936!

Even if you're sorting by Custom order, all newly-created playlists should still appear at the top of Your Library (right after your pinned playlists, Liked Songs, Your Episodes and Local Files). If you have Publish my new playlists on my profile toggled on in the desktop app's settings, they should also show up in the same order when viewing your profile. There might have been a temporary caching issue with your account, so check if logging out and signing back in fixes it.

In case the issue persists, could you share a few screenshots which show how the playlists appear in Your Library (in Custom order) vs. on your profile page?

Hi Yordan thanks for the answer! So that seemed to solve the order problem. I didn’t have publish to my account toggled, which I knew but I had ruled it out as a possibility because when I went into new playlists and published them/made them public individually they still only populated beneath all the other custom ordered playlists. Not sure why it worked, but now that it’s toggled my new playlists appear at the top of the list. Thanks again!
