Song limit (Still!?!?) on My Library. Only on Mac Desktop app

Solved!

Song limit (Still!?!?) on My Library. Only on Mac Desktop app

Student Premium

Colombia

iMac late 2012

MacOS Catalina 10.15.7

(no problem on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 9s MIUI 12.0.3)

As the title says, the desktop app doesn't let me save new songs nor albums to my library. I'm well below the old 10000 song limit at about 6800, and I have no problem saving the same songs on my smartphone. My "Liked Songs" playlist on the mac is now permanently outdated to the date it last let me save stuff, with none of the new songs I've added.
This is only one of the countless problems, bugs and crashes I have with the desktop app, so I swear that if there's no solution to this one I'll switch to Apple music asap.

Hey there @pedrunchis,

Thank you for your post here in the Community. We're happy to help.

We suggest that you perform a clean reinstall of the app. This will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

Another useful step to do is to try with another internet connection.

If that doesn't do the trick, can you let us know if the same behavior happens on different devices?

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Cheers!
