Hey folks,
Thanks for getting in touch about this here in the Community.
First up, we suggest that you check if there are songs (or a specific song) in the queue ready to start playing on your devices. If so, you can clear the queue, you first have to locate it by following the steps in this article. Then you can hit the Clear queue button to see if you notice any difference.
If the issue persists, we'd recommend logging in to your account page, scrolling down, and selecting SIGN OUT EVERYWHERE. This way, you’ll sign out from every device on which your account is open. Also, we suggest changing your password as an extra security step.
It's also worth checking the apps that are linked to your Spotify account on your account page under Apps and remove any you don't recognize. You can find out more tips on how to protect your account here.

Yes, this started happening on my Android device today. It does not matter which playlist I use, it jumps to the exact-same song, regardless of whether that song is in the playlist or not. The behaviour happens in my custom playlists, shared playlists, even simply playing an "album".
I've tried turning on/off autoplay, on/off automix, on/off shuffle... no changes. I rebooted the device -- no change. I logged out of the App and the logged-in again - no change.
I even get the same behaviour when I use both the speaker on my phone and when playing via Sonos.
Exactly! One or two songs will play, then it'll play some random song on loop and you can't get out of it unless you select a different song, then the process starts over again. So frustrating!

The same has been happening to me. I've followed the steps from Eni. I'll report back if it works or not.
If that doesn't work, is there a way to block a specific song? The same song always gets placed in the queue 80+ times for me.
So far, logging out of all devices worked (didn't check the queue thing). I've played 5 songs without interruption. Thanks!
For me the solution was clearing the play-queue. I cannot explain why the same song was added about 60 times, but after clearing it out, the regular functionality is back in action.
Logging out of all devices (is the only thing that) worked for me also.
Hello!
I have a family premium plan, but when i put my playlist on, spotify only plays the first song from my playlist and the other songs are generated automatically. I can't listen to more than one song from each of my playlists. I still pay the subscription fee and I want to receive my extras from premium. I can't play the songs either from the phone or from the computer (web).
