Spotify lost >50% of my "liked songs"

Spotify lost >50% of my "liked songs"

My Question or Issue

I just realized that most of my "liked songs" are now missing!! I used to have almost 2000 "liked songs" but now I only have 821. What happened? Can I get them back? I tried recovering a playlist but I never deleted it so that did not work. Also, my "liked songs" used to be downloaded but now they're not. I am so upset );

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community. 

 

Which devices does this behavior occur on? Does it happens on the desktop or on the mobile app? Have you tried using the Web Player instead to see to see if there's a difference? 

 

It's also a good idea to test with a different network connection to see if you'll be able to reproduce the issue. In case you don't have another one available, you can use a mobile data hotspot to test.

 

Lastly, we'd suggest taking a look at this article for more information on what else to check if songs are missing from Your library. 

 

On another note, if you think someone’s gained access to your account and deleted the songs - head here and see what steps you'd need to take.

I have the same problem, I've read so many articles and tried every advice. I logged in and out, I cleared cache, I reinstalled the app on all my devices, used different browser and internet connections (3 different wifi connections as well as mobile data) and nothing helped.

I used to have close to 3000 songs and now have only 504 left. It's the only thing I listen to :,-( 

The issue occurs on all my devices and even the web player. I have an iPhone 15, MacBook Air, and Macbook Pro.

Thanks for reaching out. If this is truly across all devices, then it might be an account related issue. You can reach out to our support team and they will gladly look into this for you. When doing so, make sure to have all your payment info on hand, as those will be necessary for search and verification.
