This sounds like odd behavior and to start investigating, let us know if you've performed any troubleshooting steps so far such as a clean reinstall for example. It often helps resolve different performance issues. 

Additionally, let us know:

• If this is happening with a particular album.
• How does the play queue look?
• Does the same behavior persist across devices?
• Are you streaming to an external device such as a speaker for example?

A screenshot or video of the behavior would be great. You can attach them via the Insert Image/Video options in the post editor or if the video's too big, you can upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us.
