Transfering data to new account excluding playlists

Solved!

Transfering data to new account excluding playlists

Former Family Plan Member 😕

France

iPhone XR, Macbook Pro mid 2012

iOS 16 beta, MacOS Big Sur

Hello, I had to switch from Family Membership to Spotify Duo and back to Family Membership due to my father's credit card information changing and other circumstances but I can't seem to join the Family Membership anymore (because I apparently joined other plans or something in the span of 12 months, even though my sibling who also switched to Duo seems to be able to join).

First of all, is there a way to fix that and join the family membership without making a new account? (I'm pretty sure the answer is "no" but I'm just throwing that question in there since that would fix everything in the first place).

I wanted to make a new account and transfer all the playlists etc. to join the Family Membership. I also planned on downloading my Streaming History of my original account (by requesting Spotify). Is there a way to import that into the new account? Or an alternative to transfer the most data to my new account excluding followers, following, playlists (I'm really invested in the Spotify Wrapped and would be devastated to have one based off the last 3 months). I also have been scrobbling with Last.fm the past 2 years if there's a way to import that data instead somehow.

Lastly, i don't know if asking this will work but I saw on reddit that it could be helpful:

Could I somehow send proof that this isn't a matter of fraudery or anything like that (and that normally I should be able to join the Family Plan) so that you can uplift the "ban"?

Apologies for the very long message, hopefully it isn't confusing

Thank you in advance.

Hey there @Brotato123,

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

You can only change plans once every twelve months, but you can return to the plan you were previously a part of.

On another note, it isn't possible to transfer some data like streaming history or last.fm scrobbles between accounts. However, for more specific info about your case, we suggest reaching out directly to our Support team through any of these channels so they can take a closer look at your account and further assist you with this.
