My Question or Issue

Since Spotify updated yesterday, I cannot sort my playlists by Date Added.  When this option is selected nothing happens.  I've uninstalled and re-installed Spotify, restarted the PC and still not working.

Can we get Spotify to fix this bug?

Okay...so this was just me...DOH!

It does sort by Date Added but when selected it starts with the oldest first, looking like it hasn't done anything.  You now need a 2nd click on the Date Added Column itself, to sort the list by newest first!  You used to just be able to just click on the Date Added option again to change the order, but now it's that one extra step.

And....breath=)

Live, love, laugh and listen to music 🙂

Can anyone help me please? I cannot see the date I added my music anymore and no matter how many times I click on "date added" it doesn't change! Its driving me insane 😞

Hey @sassystassy,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Can you send us a screenshot of how it looks like on your end? We'd also like to know if that happens in all of your playlists or just in one in particular.

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Okay...So it isn't just me.  I am still having this issue.  If I sort by date added, there is no date added column to sort.  The date column keeps randomly appearing and disappearing on my playlists.  When it's gone, you can't sort by date added.

Hey @weenyoceans,

Thanks for the reply.

Try zooming out. The new UI is quite zoomed in on some machines after the updated.

Use the Ctrl+- command or go to the 3-dot menu on the upper left-hand side > View > Zoom out.

After that you should be able to see the Date Added column.

Hope this helps 🙂

I'm having this issue, just zoomed out and the column appeared. Then I adjusted the width of the Friends activity aside and the date added is gone again. Now there is no way of having it back at this same level of zoom and having the window fit on the screen (if I make the window bigger it comes back, but when the whole window is huge and not close to fit in the screen).

I don't want to use a magnifier when looking at the Spotify window just to be able to see the Date added column because the width of the playlist is so poorly optimized, there are bugs with the display options or whatever. In addition, why is the Duration column so wide and of fixed width? Not to mention that the artist column is also gone.

Any stable solution for this please?

Btw, I got a MacBook 13''

Hey there @fergmarta

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

Would you mind sending us a screenshot of what you're seeing on your end so we can take a closer look? Make sure not to send any private info.

Also, could you let us know the exact make/model, operating system and Spotify version of your device?

We'll be on the lookout.
