Why I cant Import my local songs

When I log in to my brother's account (family subscription), I have the option to do that. But when I log in with my account, I cannot import any in the settings.

I cant Import my local music. When I log in to my brother's account (family subscription), I have the option to do that. But when I log in with my account, I cannot import any in the settings.

Hey there @simonwdr!

Welcome to the Community and thanks for the question.

Right now the feature to upload local files is available only on desktop. Once you've uploaded the files you can sync them up on your mobile device.

Take a look at this page for more info.

Let us know if you don't have the option for Local files on your desktop and we'll see what we can suggest.

If you need us to investigate, it would be helpful you could send us your Spotify version and a screenshot of what you see in the apps settings.

I have a similar problem - with the desktop variant: I can not find the menu for "Lokale Dateien" - please see screen capture. In the photo the menu is open, but unfortunately I cannot follow the instructions in the photo.

Hello, I have the Same Problem. In the Desktop App isn't the Option for local Music. I Just checked everything and reinstalled the Desktop App and updated my Windows but it is not there. Could you pls Help ne?
