Why don't some of my playlists have an edit button?

Three of my personal playlists do not have an edit button. I made these playlists several years ago and just thought to edit them again now(change playlist cover image, title) and when I click the three buttons there is no edit option. What's weird is that I created one of the "Pet Playlists" Spotify promoted a while ago to me and I can edit that one?

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out!

It's possible that you have Enhance / Smart Shuffle toggled on for these playlists, which prevents you from editing them. To turn them off:

• Enhance: open the playlist and tap the Enhanced button.
  
• Smart Shuffle: open the playlist, tap the Shuffle button and switch to regular play/shuffle.
  

In case the issue persists, please share a few screenshots of the playlists in question as well as the options you have available so we can investigate further.
