My Question or Issue
Steps:
Using the Spotify Desktop client, I click on Your Library and then Albums, sorted by Recently Added. I scroll down about 10 rows (or more). I click on an album. I click the back button in the upper left.
Expected Behavior:
The album view appears at the same place of the list where I clicked an album.
Actual Behavior:
The scroll position starts over at row 0.
Impact:
This makes it very hard to browse anything but the top few albums saved in the library, since I have to start from the beginning and scroll until I find my place again.

It seems that other Spotify users also mentioned they'd like to see this feature back and posted an idea. You can add your support there by up-voting the idea. We'll inform on any developments there, if there are any. So make sure to subscribe, if you haven’t already.
Hope this is helpful but don't hesitate to let us know if you have any further questions!

Thank you Jeremy. This bug appears in my desktop version 1.1.57.443.ga029a6c4-a
Thanks for keeping in touch and for the info.
We can confirm that this is the current expected behavior of the app. That's why we suggest heading over to the idea @Mihail shared above to add your +Vote and comments to show your support. You can also Subscribe to it to be on top of any updates we share about it.
You can read more about how feedback on ideas reaches Spotify here.
If you need anything else, give us a shout.
Cheers!
And we wanna "command + [ " back !
It's broken again 😔
Reproduced on Mac desktop client
For the past while, this had been fixed; however, it's recently started to reset back to the top row whenever you view the Que or look at an album and go "back" to the previous view. Please fix this. Again.
