My Question or Issue
Mostly I am playing albums. Example searching joe cocker, find album XYZ and start eg with the play button in the album overview
Then every track thats is played will be deleter from the "now playing" list. Why?
Sometimes I want to go back to a earlier track which isn't possible.
Switched to Spotify from Deezer because you show albums in the library, too, in Android auto, but this is something that lets me think about going back.
Maybe someone can explain this. Better for me will be if you do something with this feedback 😉
Regards
Hey @theunknown88,
Thanks for posting this thread in the Community!
As far as I understand, you're referring to the Now playing section which you access via the queue button. If that's the case, then you should still be able to go back to the previously played track with pressing the back button (pressing the forward button should play the next track showing from the queue).
You should also be able to view your recently played content by going to your Listening history on mobile (keep in mind it can take some time to update). Just click on your profile picture and you'll see it there.
However, if you're experiencing something else, it'd be very helpful if you could share some more details so we can get a better understanding and even a screenshot or two so we can take a look. You can attach them via the Insert Image option in the post editor.
Hope this helps and we're here if you've got any questions 🙂
I tried to explain in this video uploaded on wetransfer
First German, much easier for me
Then in English
Hey @theunknown88,
Thanks for the response and we really appreciate the cooperation!
Unfortunately we're unable to open and view the video, but would you mind re-uploading it via the Insert Video option in the post editor directly or instead upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to see it)?
We'll be on the lookout 🙂
Hope this works. Normally I use my own cloud.

Appreciate the cooperation @theunknown88.
Would you mind sharing the link with us by making sure that the video file has the permissions for anyone to see it? You can check out the steps for sharing files from Google Drive here if you need.
Don't hesitate to let us know if anything else comes up in the meantime 🙂
Please try again 🙂
Hey @theunknown88,
The video is now accessible, thank you for providing an explanation in English!
We've checked it and can confirm that what you've described is currently expected behavior. Anything that's been added to the queue will take priority over the current album/playlist that you're playing and will be removed once it's been played. Also, note that if you add a second album to the queue it will be placed after the first one and not before it. More info on how the queue works can be found in this article.
We do however understand that for this particular use case this can be inconvenient so as a workaround we'd suggest adding the albums to a "temporary" playlist which you can delete afterwards.
You're welcome to share your feedback on how this can be improved in our Ideas board! Make sure to check out this idea on the same topic.
We're here for you if there's anything else 🙂
Thanks for your reply
No go for me and I don't know why
I don't see any goes reason
So I think I will go back to Deezer
The disadvantage is from them is a lot smaller than all big and little things of Spotify
Seems that the way I use the app is very weird.
