why can’t one use syntax (i.e. “genre:” “year:”) in the liked songs?

The Genre/Mood filters don’t show anywhere near the amount of genres that I have. One in particular is Bronx Drill. None of the filters even show those songs, and I can’t search “genre:bronx-drill” in my liked songs, nor is there a “liked songs” in a given syntax search like there are when you're on an artist page.

Hi there @sayge,

Thanks for reaching out. The advanced search you're trying to use is only for the main search bar, the one used for finding content from the entire Spotify catalogue. This type of search cannot be used in playlists or in the Liked songs. More info on the topic can be found here. The genre filter for Liked Songs should appear at the top as different options that you can tap, as described here. It's possible that, if you have many many genres in your Liked Songs, not all can be shown. Also do keep in mind that the genre metadata is heavily dependant on how this has been configured by owners of the songs when they uploaded them to Spotify, so this information can vary between content.
