30 minutes of uninterrupted music not working

For the past few days the 30 minutes of add free music has not been working. I keep getting the “Watch this short video to get 30 minutes of uninterrupted listening” and then nothing would happen. I wouldn’t even get the video for said 30 minutes. I’ve tried the help feature that Spotify has, and none of the solutions I was given had worked. I’ve been unable to find a single person who has had this same problem, even on the internet. I don’t know if it’s just my device that’s being weird for some reason, but it would be nice to just get a solution that would actually work, or at least somebody else with this problem.

Hey there @Mr_Kitty123, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

You mentioned that you have tried different steps to solve this problem. Can you try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps? It's more thorough than a simple reinstall.

 

If you're still having trouble, can you let me know if this is an issue when you're streaming on a different device, if possible? You can also try creating a new test account here and see if the issue presents itself there. If it doesn't, I'll suggest steps on how to transfer content from one account to another.

I'm curious I don't have premium so I get the odd commercial that says thank you for listening now please enjoy 30 minutes of interruption free music... but every 2 to 3 songs I get commercials.... I think the commercial should be removed or actually give us 30 mins of uninterrupted music! Just a thought 😀

I've been experiencing the same problem for a month or so now!! 😞

Make the '30 minute uninterrupted' reward for watching ads actually *be* 30 minutes instead of one interrupted song. I get that ads are necessary and I don't mind them, but telling me I have a half- hour break and not fulfilling that offer is disingenuous and irritating. 

I was promised 30 minutes, but got an ad after 1 freaking song. I wasn't minimizing the ad or even touching my device. About to uninstall after i go through my playlist once.

My Question or Issue

 

The display that there will be no interruption for 30 minutes after the ad is sometimes not true. After this ad, one song is played and another ad is displayed immediately. Please leave the app or skip

 

Hey there @i2da!  

I just wanted to remind you that It’s important to keep the video ad in focus and avoid navigating to other apps, browsers, or anything else.

Also, make sure not to accidentally click the “No, thanks” button when prompted to watch the ad.

It would also be worth trying a clean reinstall by following these steps to see if it makes any difference.

I've tried everything, including switching from the Spotify app to another app and installing a new app. It still keeps happening. I contacted support, but they said they didn't have any information and stopped supporting me.
