Hey folks,
Thanks for reaching out!
I'd recommend performing a clean reinstall to make sure you're running the latest version of the app and to remove any damaged cache that might be causing issues. Another thing that comes to mind is testing a different internet connection - try switching between WiFi and mobile data or connecting to a different one, if available. Also, make sure to check out this article, which was provided in the OI thread as it has a lot of useful info.
Let us know how it goes.
That doesn’t work
Hey, @xostamps,
Are you listening on an external Wi-Fi / Bluetooth speaker or directly on the phone? Could you check if the issue persists on another device or on the Web Player?
Keep us posted 👍
I am listening directly on my phone. The issue does not occur on my Mac
Hey @xostamps,
Thank you for keeping in contact.
To continue investigating this behavior, would you mind checking with a different Wi-Fi network or mobile data to see if it makes any difference?
If the issue persists, include in your next response the make, model, and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running.
We'll be on the lookout for your response.

Hey @azmatt,
Thanks for reaching out.
Can you send us a screenshot of the error message you're seeing and confirm that you've tried the troubleshooting mentioned in this thread? We'll also need your exact Spotify app version so we can try to reproduce the issue on our end.
@xostamps, we'll need yours as well along with a short video of the behavior. If the file is too large to attach, you can upload it to Google Drive (make sure to allow general access to the file) or as an unlisted YouTube video.
Cheers,
I have the same issue on A55. App does not load completely. It's stuck and displays half if content. And not playing anything.
I did even a reset. Cleared cache. Deleted app reinstalled. Nothing works after update.
Hi there @Kenhout,
Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Spotify Community!
Does this happen when you are connected to an external device, such as a Wi-Fi / Bluetooth speaker? Could you check if you encounter this issue on another device and on the Web Player?
You mentioned reinstalling the app, but have you tried performing a clean reinstall? It's more thorough and will ensure that any damaged cache will be removed. I'd also recommend checking out this article to see if any of the scenarios is similar to what you're experiencing, as well as following the suggested troubleshooting steps.
