5.3.0 iPad rotation problem with new Circular typeface

5.3.0 iPad rotation problem with new Circular typeface

When you are in the landscape view on the ipad with the circular typeface you are unable to press play/pause and cannot skip forwards and backwards, instead you go to browsing youth music again.

Anyone else having this problem?

Hi there and welcome to the community,

That doesn't look right. I've never seen this issue before. Are you able to reproduce this? It'd be great if you could provide us with a step-by-step guide.

What Spotify version are you on?

The version is 5.3.0 the newest update.

You open the app, you tap play then you click the up arrow so that you see
the album art then after that you turn your device on its side so it is in
landscape mode. You should not be able to click play/pause or skip it will
just take you out of the albums and back to browsing your music.

This has happened multiple times.

Hey there,

Sorry for the delay. Can you please confirm that you are on the latest firmware version? Does it help when you do a full reinstallation of the app?

I uninstalled the app and then I reinstalled it. It doesn't do it now. I guess next time I post something I'll do that first. 🙂

Thanks for your help
