Ability to View All Playlists

Just signed in to my spotify account (its old, and not premium!) via my laptop and everything was fine, could see all my old playlists etc. Then i signed in via my iphone and only a few of the playlists are visible. Can't seem to find the others anywhere. It doesn't help trying to delete some other ones via the laptop.

Where have they gone and how can I access them?

You can recover your playlists by logging in to your account on the Spotify website and visiting the Recover playlists tab:

 

This should resolve your problem.
