Able to play local files on Macbook but not on iPhone.

Able to play local files on Macbook but not on iPhone.

I recently got a new iPhone 5S and have got it set up and everything is working fine. However, I cannot play local files on the phone but they do play on my macbook. The songs played on my 4S fine, but since getting the new phone when trying to play the songs it gets the title and song, but no artwork and there is no song time displayed. Sorry if this has been answered before, but I had a look and couldn't find anything.

Cheers.

Unfortunately there have been several reports of similar issues here on the community.

Would it be possible to try a clean reinstallation of the app and see if that makes any difference?

I have tried a complete reinstallation and it hasn't worked. Is there anyway to delete the local files from Spotify and re-add them back in?

On the desktop application, go to Edit/Spotify > Preferences > Local Files > Untick all of the sources and then restart the client. If they are still showing, go to the Local Files tab, select all of the tracks then right click and remove them.

Once thats done, either re-add them as a source or drag and drop them back into the client.
