My Question or Issue

Add to playlist hasn't been working for me recently in the sense that when I add a brand new song to one of my playlists, I can't add that same song to the same or other playlists no matter how many times I try, I've restarted my phone and deleted and re-installed the app. Appreciate any help if available.

Thank you for your post here in the Community.

 

Can you confirm that you followed the no old cache files causing this. steps that's provided in this article? There's some more steps to help thoroughly uninstall the app from your phone so if you haven't, we'd highly suggest it since the steps will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

 

We also suggest that you make sure that there's enough storage on the device.

Yes, using deleting the cache made it work again. Thank you very much.

Having trouble adding a song to a playlist. When I click the playlist I want to add it to, it acts like I’m not even touching the screen. Tried emptying the cache, and the Clear cache button won’t work either. It at least acknowledges that I’m touching the screen, and looks like I’m depressing the button, but it does nothing.

Thanks for posting in the Community 🙂

Good troubleshooting moves so far! Try also restarting the app twice in a row (log out and go back in). This may sound odd but it's how the app does a refresh between your account and our servers. See if this will shake things up and you'll be able to add songs to playlists as expected. 

If the above doesn't help, you can then go for a clean reinstall for your platform, to be sure no corrupted cached info is interfering with your app.

when i go to my playlist and want to add a song, then want to search one then there’s a problem warning telling me to try again but it won’t work
