Adding to playlist

Im trying to add songs to a new playlist (using the Spotify app on my iphone 6) using songs already saved to 'my songs'. For some reason the on the option list for eash song (remove, add to queue) there is no option on any of my saved and avalible offline songs to add to play list. Why is this? Songs from my other playlists avalible offline seem to be able to be added to my playlist but not a single song from 'my music' (also avaloble offline). I dont know if its just me being silly or a bug. Iv tryed closing and re opening the app, singing out and back in and also turning my phone on and off but no change... Captain?
