Advertisement on my home tab (despite having premium)

On my home tab of the Spotify app, there appears to be an advertisement between my recently played and heavy rotantion sections. I've (hopefully) attached a screenshot to this post so you can better understand what I mean. I was seeing an advertisement for a new single, though after to clicked it (it was greyed out as I have the artist blocked) it was replaced with the 'today's top hits' playlist. It's taking up quite a large amount of space on my home page, so I was just wondering if it was possible to remove this? Thanks.

I've been a premium user for several years and I also use the iOS app. These have occasionally appeared for me as well. It is not considered an ad, it is considered a music recommendation so that is why it will show for premium users. Right now there is no way to remove them or opt out.

Almost every time I log in I'm having some podcast or blog advertised to me that I have absolutely zero interest in. All this advertisement is doing is annoying me and crowding out the content that I'm paying to see.

We always strive to offer the best experience with the Spotify app. There are music recommendations in the app in order to offer different music jams or podcasts.

Tip: If you see the message on the top in the announcements, you can click on Hide Announcements.

You can also check these steps on how to create an idea. That way other users can also support your suggestion. Rest assured that the higher the number of votes an idea gets, the more likely it is for it to be implemented.

The issue I have with some of these advertisements/announcements/spam is
that they are of a highly-charged political nature. It's not something I'm
ever interested in seeing. Indeed, I never want to see it. It would be
somewhat more sensible if it was advertisements for a car or shampoo or
something, or even another music artist. Instead I'm getting the sense that
Spotify is preaching to me, which is creepy.
