App Freezes And Crashed All The Time During Playback

I have an iPhone 6 Plus and am running Spotify version 5.7.0.1055. The app freezes all the time during playback. For example, I will start playing a song. The song will continue to play but the UI freezes and is unresponsive. I can try to press the "next track" button but nothing happens. Then, anywhere from 45 seconds to 2-3 minutes later, the app recognizes my button press and advances to the next track. Sometimes the app will just crash. This is beyond frustrating and it seems like paying for premium is a waste.

Have you tried a clean reinstall? It should probably fix it!

Yes @Bittencourt. A clean reinstall only made it worse. Instead of freezing then recovering most of the time, the app now just freezes and crashes after 1-2 songs.

Ok @temuujin,

Some users have had success using the following steps (it's a little different then uninstalling and reinstalling)

1. Uninstall Spotify

2. Hold down home and power button until Apple logo appears

2. Reinstall Spotify
