App no longer states if it’s an album/EP/single

My Question or Issue


As the title says, without actually clicking on it there is no longer any indication of what it is. Is it a single? Album? Who knows.

Thanks for reaching out.

 

We haven't received any reports about this thus far and we weren't able to reproduce this on our end. So that we can look into this further, could you please provide us the following:

  • Is this on all devices or only on your iPhone?
  • When did this start happening?
  • Is this with all artists or only specific ones.
  • The exact Spotify Versions you use.
  • Screenshots or a video of the behaviour. If the files are too large to attach here in the Community, you can send them to us via Google Drive or as unlisted YouTube videos.

With this information, we’d be happy to investigate.

it specifically happens in the music tab, home page states if it’s an album or single but this info is not given in music tab. 

It started happening around 2-3 weeks ago

We appreciate your feedback regarding this function. Spotify is always testing things by adding or removing features to make the app better overall, so you or someone else may see something new or get a limited feature temporarily on the app. We’re sorry that this means you’re not able to use the feature like you wish to do at the moment.

It does it on all devices, with all artist and now on the all page. Under each one it used to state which type it was album, single etc and now it’s blank.
