My Question or Issue
For 2 weeks now my Spotify app has not been working on my phone but it does work on my computer.
When I try to log in it says "Something went wrong. Try again."
When I try to login without password it says the same thing.
When I try to use Facebook to login it says "Something went wrong."
Things I've tried multiple times:
- Clearing the cache
- Deleting, restarting my phone + reinstalling the app
- Using the longer username rather than my email
- Changing my password from the web app
Please help me get access to my account on the app.

Thanks for posting here.
Could you try with another internet connection to see if anything changes?
In case you're using any battery optimization or power saving apps, you can deactivate them for Spotify to see if that helps.
You can also send us a screenshot of the error message. Just make sure to hide any private or sensitive info. We'll look into this further.

It's still not working. It's been almost a month now that the app hasn't allowed me to log in.
Here are the screenshots but I'm not sure they will help. The screens continue to just say "Something went wrong. Try again."

Can you reupload the screenshots, as they appear to not have uploaded.
Apart from that, try creating a new free account from your phone and check if you can log in with that one at all, or it gives you the same error message.

Ok I connected to a public wifi and the app allowed me to sign in.
But now when I am not on that wifi, using 5G - it says "Spotify Offline".

Just to make sure, are you using the same internet connection on your phone and on your PC?
Since this sounds like a network-related issue, we'd recommend following these steps:

That was not a solution because the issue was not with the internet connection but I just did another delete and re-download and for some reason now it works.
